Expansion and Differentiation of H7 Human Embryonic Stem Cells in Chemically Defined Medium Using Corning® Synthemax™ Surface
21 Jun 2010: In this application note Corning Synthemax Surface is used to support long-term self-renewal and differentiation of H7 hESCs. Cells demonstrated a stable doubling time, high level of expression of hESC phenotypic markers (Oct4, SSEA4 and TRA-1-60) and normal karyotype. Corning Synthemax Surface also supported successful directed differentiation of H7 cells into functional cardiomyocytes, proving suitability of Corning Synthemax Surface for both expansion and differentiation of hESC culture.
